Wrestlemania III Rebooked

1. The Can-Am Connection def. "Cowboy" Bob Orton & "Magnificent" Muraco when Martel rolled up Orton into a cradle pin after Don Muraco accidentally hit Orton with a forearm.  After the match, Orton and Muraco got into a shoving-match when Mr. Fuji stepped in and stopped it.

2. "The Natural" Butch Reed def. Tito Santana by pulling the tights after reversing a flying body press by Santana.

3. King Kong Bundy & "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff def. The Islanders when Paul Orndorff came off the ropes and piledrived Tama after catching him with his head bent down.

4. "King" Harley Race def. The Junkyard Dog with a belly-to-belly suplex.  As per the stipulation, JYD had to bow and kneel before Race.

5. The Rougeau Brothers def. The Dream Team when Brutus Beefcake accidentally hit Greg "The Hammer" Valentine.  After the match, Dino Bravo and Valentine attacked Beefcake then the Rougeau's cleared Bravo and Valentine from the ring.

6. Hercules def. Billy Jack Haynes via DQ when Haynes attacked Hercules with the chain

7. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat def. "Macho Man" Randy Savage (c) by reversing a bodyslam attempt by Savage into a small package (for the Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship)

8. Demolition def. The Killer Bees when Ax delivered the decapitation on B. Brian Blair.

9. The Honky Tonk Man def. Jake "The Snake" Roberts via leverage from holding the ropes

10. The British Bulldogs def. The Hart Foundation (c) via DQ when Danny Davis knocked out the referee with the megaphone after Davey Boy Smith delivered the power slam on Bret Hart (for the World Tag Team Championship)

11. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper def. "Adorable" Adrian Adonis with help from Brutus Beefcake waking Piper up from "Goodnight Irene."  As per the stipulation, Adonis had to have his hair cut.

12. The Iron Shiek & Nikolai Volkoff def. Hillbilly Jim & "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan by DQ when Duggan hit the Shiek with the 2x4 board.

13. Danny Davis def. Koko B. Ware when Jimmy Hart distracted Koko and, from behind,  Davis rolled up Koko then pulled the tights.

14. Hulk Hogan (c) def. Andre "The Giant" (for the World Heavyweight Championship) with the atomic leg drop after slamming Andre.

 

AFTERMATH:

• Brutus Beefcake becomes Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake

• Greg "The Hammer" Valentine formed the "New Dream Team" with Dino Bravo

• Paul Orndorff eventually fires Bobby Heenan for the 2nd time.

• "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan continually followed Nikolai Volkoff making sure he didn't sing the Russian National anthem.

• The Islanders wrestled the Can-Am Connection in a face vs. face match.  Inexplicably, the Islanders played the role of heels during the match and purposely injure Tom Zenk.  Bobby Heenan steps in to manage the Islanders afterward and Tito Santana steps in to be Martel's partner.  Santana and Martel become "Strikeforce" and begin a feud with the Islanders.
